Our charitable giving program, Callahan Financial Planning Gives, allows our clients to nominate one charity per year to receive a donation of 5% of our annual income. Employees of Callahan Financial Planning Company are not eligible to take part in the selection process; only our clients may enter votes for their desired charities. Each client household may vote for one charity per year.

Generally, any eligible charity recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization may be nominated. You may view a list of current exempt organizations on the IRS website here.

The charity receiving the most nominations by our clients is provided with the donation for the year.

Submissions for 2020 will be available online this summer here.
